About Medclinic Family Practice

Medclinic Family Practice is a medical practice in Brookvale, inside Priceline Pharmacy, Westfield Warringah Mall. All staff are dedicated to treating and caring for our clients with complete professionalism.

We are a fully computerised medical practice in accordance with the latest RACGP standards and equipped with the latest equipment and technology. All our policies and procedures comply with RACGP standards.

  • Prefer to see patients by appointments.
  • Walk in patients are welcome but there might be some waiting time.
  • Appointments can be booked over the phone or through online booking system.

Upon arrival at the practice for your appointment, please inform the receptionist if:

  • You have a Pension card or Health Care Card.
  • Your child is to be immunised.
  • The visit is a work-related injury.

The Practice is committed to providing you with the best preventative care possible. Practice staff will seek your permission to be included on reminder system and may issue you a reminder notice on occasion. If you do not wish to be part of this system, please let your doctor or practice nurse know.

A telephone interpreter or formal interpreter service may be accessed when required. please notify practice staff should this service be required.

Please notify reception staff if you are unable to keep an appointment to allow patients to be seen.

Unfortunately, due to the allowance for urgent cases and the potentially complex and unpredictable nature of medical consultations, waiting times can be prolonged. We understand that it maybe difficult to wait at times for various reasons, and we aim to achieve a balance between appropriate medical care and minimizing inconvenience. Please follow up with an appointment within the week for all results. Patients will be contacted by the practice nurse to follow up an appointment with their GP for any abnormal urgent results. For non-urgent results mostly a sms is sent to book an appointment. No results are discussed obver the phone or online by email due to PRIVACY reasons.

sep-iconOverseas Patients/Non Medicare card Holders:

We are unable to offer private health rebates for GP consultations except kids under the age of 6. To support Private Health rebates, we can supply a tax invoice upon request so that you may submit a claim with your insurance provider following your consultation.

Medclinic Family Practice is Private billing practice.

Consultation FEES must be paid in full by credit card, cash or EFTPOS on the day of the appointment.

Our reception can collect payment after your consultation, and you will not be required to wait to settle your account.
